To some, he is the instructor who plays the guitar; to others he is the instructor who always has an open door. No matter which side of Farren Clark students and faculty identify with, one thing is certain: there is just something about him that can make a five-minute conversation turn into 30.
With the semester coming to a close, many students question how the end crept up so quickly. The semester's end always brings mixed emotions: joy, anxiety, fear and doubt. Excitement fills the air as students dream wildly of all the wonderful things they will do over Christmas break, or not do, as they vegetate in their beds for days-something that is on the top of my list of things to do over winter vacation.
Mr. Perfect and I started off...well...perfect. However, while I knew giving love a second try with him would be difficult, I didn't realize just how difficult it would be. People going for round two with an old flame often experience a common struggle. They are worried they will get hurt again and want to voice that concern but don't want their significant other to misconstrue that anxiety for neediness.
Christian Leblanc, New Orleans native and three-time Emmy award winner for his role as Michael Baldwin in "The Young and the Restless," will be Master of Ceremonies for "Celebrities, Comedy, and Cocktails." The Louisiana Center for Women and Government will bring local and Hollywood celebrities to Nicholls for a convention, slated to take place Friday and Saturday.
