General Information
The Nicholls Worth is the campus newspaper for Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, La. With a circulation of 5,500, the paper serves the 6,700-populated campus and the surrounding area. The 16-member news and editorial staff works hard with the 6-member advertising department and the 6-member photography staff to put out a quality tabloid-sized newspaper each week. The paper is printed on Thursdays. It comes out about 30 times a year, including 3 times during the summer session. We accept people of all majors and classifications as staff. The positions are paid campus jobs, but many students opt to volunteer their time and talent.
